Legal Netlink Alliance Welcomes Hathaway & Kunz, LLP as Its Newest Member in Wyoming, USA

Jul 20, 2026 – Cheyenne, Wyoming

Legal Netlink Alliance is delighted to welcome Hathaway & Kunz, LLP as its member firm for the State of Wyoming, further strengthening the alliance's presence across the United States with a firm that combines more than five decades of legal excellence with a forward-looking approach to emerging industries.

The LNA landscape in the United States has continued to grow in recent months with the addition of Coan Payton & Payne LLC (Denver, Colorado), Mulliken Weiner Berg & Jolivet, P.C. (Colorado Springs, Colorado) and Smith & Sarconi (Sterling Heights, Michigan). The arrival of Hathaway & Kunz further expands the alliance's coverage across key U.S. jurisdictions, enhancing the network's ability to support clients with trusted local counsel and seamless cross-border collaboration.

Founded in 1975, Hathaway & Kunz has played an important role in Wyoming's legal and business community since its inception. The firm's legacy is closely linked to the history of the state itself: co-founder Stanley K. Hathaway served as Governor of Wyoming and later as U.S. Secretary of the Interior, while co-founder Brent R. Kunz previously served as Counsel to U.S. Senator Clifford P. Hansen and as Special Assistant to Secretary Hathaway in Washington, D.C.

Today, the Cheyenne-based firm is recognized for its broad capabilities across both established and rapidly evolving areas of law. Its traditional strengths include litigation, estate planning, real estate transactions, employment law, oil and gas, energy regulation, environmental and natural resources law, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, government relations, intellectual property, health care law and public finance. The firm also regularly serves as local counsel in Wyoming state and federal courts.

Reflecting Wyoming's position as a hub for legal innovation, Hathaway & Kunz has also developed a strong reputation in emerging practice areas. The firm advises clients on digital assets, blockchain and token offerings, DAO and decentralized governance, FinTech, venture capital, special purpose depository institutions (SPDIs), chartered trust companies and digital asset estate planning, helping businesses and investors navigate an increasingly dynamic regulatory landscape.

With its combination of deep regional roots, sophisticated business counsel and innovative legal expertise, Hathaway & Kunz is exceptionally well positioned to support both domestic and international clients doing business in Wyoming and beyond.

We are pleased to welcome the Hathaway & Kunz team to Legal Netlink Alliance and look forward to the knowledge, experience and collaborative spirit they will bring to our global community.
