HaugaardBraad Advises on New Residential Development in Risskov

Jul 16, 2026 – Aarhus, Denmark

HaugaardBraad is pleased to be acting as legal adviser on the development of Latyrusparken, a new residential neighbourhood currently under construction in Risskov, just north of Aarhus.

Developed by EnergyTech Estate, the project will deliver 297 rental homes, comprising 257 private rental apartments and townhouses alongside 40 affordable family homes developed in partnership with Lejerbo. Inspired by Aarhus' traditional townhouse architecture, the development has been designed to combine modern living with generous green spaces and shared amenities, creating a vibrant community for future residents.

Latyrusparken places a strong emphasis on sustainability and quality of life. The development will include landscaped communal areas, an orangery, shared facilities, underground parking with electric vehicle charging, and direct access to Aarhus' light rail network. It has also been designed with a focus on reducing climate impact, promoting biodiversity and achieving DGNB certification, Denmark's leading sustainability standard for buildings.

HaugaardBraad is providing legal advice throughout the development process, supporting the project from planning through to completion. The matter is being handled by Partner Katrine Dons Kvottrup, Nina Fredsøe Mølgaard and Cathrine Islin Jeppesen, working alongside EnergyTech Estate, HPE Byggerådgivning ApS, LE34, Lejerbo and DAI.

The project reflects HaugaardBraad's extensive experience advising developers, investors and property owners on complex real estate developments. By supporting projects such as Latyrusparken, the firm continues to assist clients through every stage of the development lifecycle, helping bring forward residential projects that contribute to the sustainable growth of communities across Denmark.
