Leveraging its established standing in the Romanian market, ONV LAW is broadening its consultancy services to international markets by launching a new subsidiary in Chisinau. Our law firm has set a target of surpassing a cumulative turnover of EUR 2.5 million for the year 2024.

The Republic of Moldova will have access to European funding totaling more than EUR 2.5 billion, in the upcoming period, through the Connecting Europe Facility. These funds will be allocated for significant infrastructure and digitization projects.

The firm's expansion aligns with the favorable economic development context in the Republic of Moldova over the past two years, driven by its proximity to the European Union. The specialized team of lawyers based in Chisinau will play a key role in leveraging foreign investment opportunities, particularly in sectors such as IT, Business Process Outsourcing, automotive, retail, banking, and the tobacco industry. Their focus will be on providing legal assistance to navigate dynamic and thriving business environment in the Republic of Moldova.

In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of multinational corporations strategically expanding their operations in the Republic of Moldova. Some of the most recent examples are Schoni Finefood from Switzerland, Kaufland, BauTex Composites (Germany) or Scan Plast/ Tunetanken (Denmark) .

Mihail Gorincioi is a member of the Council of the Training Center for Lawyers within the Union of Lawyers of the Republic of Moldova, trainer in the field of European Union Law and was part of the team of experts of the Republic of Moldova within the Council of Europe. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University in Iasi.
