The Stanković & Partners team co-authored the Serbia chapter, providing a comprehensive overview of the country’s bribery and corruption laws and regulations, including key developments in legislation, enforcement regime and activity, and policy over the past year. The chapter also addresses the legal and policy framework on facilitation payments and hospitality, and examines practical issues related to investigations, decision-making, and enforcement procedures.

In addition, the authors outline cross-border considerations relevant to bribery and corruption matters and place particular emphasis on corporate liability for corruption offences. The chapter concludes with an overview of proposed reforms and expectations for the year ahead.
