Join us at 12:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 30, 2026 for our. next LNA Young Lawyers Division's webinar. The panel features the accomplished panelists listed below, sharing their personal tips for achieving balance between work and life.

This webinar will focus on the rapidly evolving role of AI in the practice of law and on how it can be used appropriately to improve efficiency and accuracy. Presenters will discuss new use cases, pitfalls, and ethical and legal issues associated with the use of generative AI. Recommendations for navigating new tools will be provided to allow practitioners to capitalize on new efficiencies safely and ethically. The program will conclude with a brief Q&A segment to discuss issues pertaining to the uncertainties that lawyers face when implementing AI into their practices.

Moderator:

Walter Bourdaghs, Kang Haggerty LLC

Walter Bourdaghs is an Associate focusing his practice on complex commercial litigation, construction law, and civil rights matters, drawing on experience representing individuals, small businesses, and international companies. He earned his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law where he served as an editor on the Boston University Law Review. Outside of the office, Walter is an avid chess player and enjoys exploring new parks and neighborhoods with his dog.

Blair Castellanos, Steinbrecher & Span

Blair Castellanos is an Associate focusing her practice on corporate, transactional, business entity structuring and formation, corporate governance, M&A, entertainment, social media, contract and intellectual property law. Ms. Castellanos enjoys working with businesses of all types from their initial structuring to their sale or dissolution and everything in-between. She has also practiced civil litigation and represented clients in mediation related to corporate disputes, breach of contract, fraud, real estate, unlawful detainers and family law. 

Ms. Castellanos earned her Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, where she acted as president of the International Law Society and represented Pepperdine at the International Moot Court competition at the Royal Courts of Justice in London, United Kingdom. She also earned the Certificate in International and Comparative Law and the Straus Certificate in Dispute Resolution. She worked as the legal summaries editor for the Journal of the National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary. During her time at Pepperdine, Ms. Castellanos took part in the London Program in which she worked as a legal intern with British Internal Investment, f/k/a CDC Group, PLC and participated in the Global Justice Program in India. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama from UC Irvine, where she earned honors in musical theatre.

Ms. Castellanos is a member of the American Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association and Provisors. She lives in Pasadena with her husband and son and enjoys volunteering, cooking, traveling, reading, history and hiking.

Daniel Hesketh, Egerton, McAfee, Armistead & Davis PC

Daniel Hesketh is a business transactional attorney at Egerton, McAfee, Armistead & Davis, PC, in Knoxville, Tennessee, focusing on commercial transactions, real estate, and mergers and acquisitions. He holds a J.D. from University of Tennessee College of Law, as well as a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Catholic University of America.

Prior to practicing law, Dan served for six years in the United States Army as an active-duty officer and member of the Tennessee National Guard, including service as a Field Artillery officer and later as a brigade staff officer.

Kiernan DeMasi, Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks Kahn Wikstrom & Sinins

Kiernan DeMasi is a member of the Javerbaum Wugaft Hicks Kahn Wikstron & Sinins Litigation Department, where he concentrates on commercial litigation, construction law, and contract law. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a law clerk with the I.R.S. Office of Chief Counsel.

Mr. DeMasi graduated in 2024 from Seton Hall University, School of Law. While at Seton Hall, he worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Tracy Kaye and interned with the Honorable Mala Sundar in the New Jersey State Tax Court. He served as Secretary on the Executive Boards of Lambda Law Alliance and Tax Law Society. While at Seton Hall, Mr. DeMasi was a member of the Jessup International Moot Court team. Since graduating, Mr. DeMasi has served as a judge for the competition grading both memorials and oral arguments.

Prior to law school, Mr. DeMasi graduated from Skidmore College earning Bachelor of Arts in Economics and German and receiving a minor in International Affairs. Mr. DeMasi focused his Economics degree on public policy analysis and wrote his final thesis on the impact emission standards on public health.
