Legal Netlink Alliance is a global alliance of carefully selected, midsized, general practice, independent law firms. Firms are selected for membership because they represent a high level of quality and integrity. The network’s membership of first class law firms gives the client access to quality legal representation virtually anywhere in the world. Legal Netlink Alliance offers clients the breadth and resources of a large legal organization without the inherent inefficiencies, conflict issues and impersonal nature that burden large international law firms.

Legal Netlink Alliance was designed to offer the multi-state or international client a superior alternative. Personal attention from partners, affordable billing rates and local expertise are among the advantages offered by network members. As a result, clients have the resources of a large legal organization coupled with the personal approach of a locally recognized firm.

The benefits of having access to an international network of quality law firms are obvious. Variations in the laws and court systems of states, provinces and countries throughout the world makes knowledge of local policies and practices, not to mention languages, essential. Clients of the network’s members have quick and reliable access to the local expertise that is so important to effective representation. With over 50 members in the United States and members in 20 other countries around the world, the clients’ needs can be readily met.

The Alliance continues to expand its membership and its coverage pursuant to guidelines designed to limit participation to responsible law firms of recognized ability. The Alliance also pursues cooperative arrangements with other non-legal networks. One such arrangement involves Russell Bedford International, a world-wide organization of accounting and financial firms, and another involves IPREX, an international group of public relations firms. Cooperative arrangements of this nature allow the Alliance a greater reach and a greater ability to service both the legal and non-legal needs of its members' clients.

The organization also serves its members. It provides a vehicle for the referral of matters, while leaving all members free to refer outside the network if they so desire. It provides its members with local expertise in dozens of cities and countries. Member firms also share their knowledge in many areas of the law - creating a virtual world wide law firm of over 1500 lawyers without the overhead associated with today's mega-firms.
