Jeffrey Edwards
recently published the second edition of his book, La garantie de
qualité du vendeur en droit québécois (The Warranty of Quality of
the Seller in Quebec Law).
This second edition comes 10 years after the original publication of
a work which has become the leading reference book of lawyers,
judges and law students in the
province
of
Quebec
for product liability as well as for quality issues in cases of
manufacturer’s responsibility, construction law, environmental law
and the seller’s liability in commercial, industrial and
residential sale transactions. The first edition of
Jeffrey’s book has been cited by the Supreme Court of Canada as
well as over 500 times by all the levels of the Quebec Courts.
Jeffrey heads the litigation group at Tutino Edwards Joseph.
He is also an accredited arbitrator and mediator specializing in
construction and product liability claims. Jeffrey also
lectures in his field of specialization at the Faculty of Law of
McGill University.
